Winnie

Forever in our hearts
Winnie was found starving to death tied to a tree in Tennessee. So when I rescued her, she would not leave my side and would scale the fence when I had to leave. I had a little talk with her asking her to please stay in the yard/house when I am gone so she would stay safe, just for kicks. The farrier came one day while I was at school and Winnie scaled the fence, I guess to say Hello. The farrier played with her but was wondering why she was out. When they were leaving the farrier told his assistant they had better put Winnie back in the yard, but when they tried to find her she had scaled the fence again to go back in the yard! So I suppose they do understand (when they want to :-)).
