Dear Shotzie, One year ago, at 4:27 pm, you returned home to Heaven. Although Mom and Dad are happy you are back with God, the pain of losing you has not gone away. You were such an important part of our lives, that nothing is the same without you. You brought Mom and Dad so much joy and happiness that our days are filled with sadness. Shotzie means "Treasure" and that's what you are to us. Ten of the best years of our lives were because of you. The unconditional love that you gave to Mom and Dad and the fact you were always happy to see us leaves a deep void in our hearts. There are so few words that can describe the love we feel for you - a timeless love. We all miss your smiling face, your snore, your love for life, the love you gave to Bubble Gum, Dwight, Pum Pum, and so many other living souls, your walk, your playful nature, your beautiful face and coat, and everything about you. You were a perfect creation of God. Thank you for the two yellow flowers you brought to bloom in Feb - they cheered me and mom up. Bubble Gum and Dwight also miss you - especially Dwight. Today, Mom and Dad will be going to church to pray for you and we will be going by our apartment you loved so much.
