Rocky Balboa Crotty

Forever in our hearts
Rocky was my first dog--The Love of my life. I met him at a local shelter. He was only seven weeks old and was the only dog who didn't bark as I entered the room.I put my index finger up to his cage. He licked it and that was it for me--he had my heart! We shared a lot during our 15 years together. He was my greatest comfort and companion when my mom passed away. He was my "Big Guy," always helping me--whether it was helping me up a hill or helping me cheer up with his big doggy smile. Some people were afraid of him because of his size (a plus when it came to protecting his home and me and mom) but I knew his secret--that he was a big, sweet lover He loved to give big doggy kisses--to me especially (he loved to kiss my nose, inside included), but also to anyone who would put their face near his. He loved the neighborhood children and all people. He also was my furry, four-legged son, whom I love with all my heart. He took a huge chunk of my heart with him when he left for Heaven, but I know he is with me in spirit and I look forward to being with him forever and ever, there...
