PITA

We rescued PITA from a factory along with 2 brothers and another sister. They were only 4 weeks old. They were all Tuxedo cats, but PITA took our hearts away. We raised the litter until they were old enough to go to forever homes and then found homes for the other 3. PITA was the best cat. In fact, she thought she was a dog as she acted like one. She followed me everywhere, was always at the door when I got home, begged for food, and had such an expressive face. She was a very healthy cat all her life, in fact, she lived to be 25 years old. My vet had never even treated a cat that old. She passed quietly here at home and I was by her side like she had been by mine all the time. We had her body cremated and she sits on our fireplace mantle along with a picture of her. I will never forget her, after all, I had her more than half my adult life!!! RIP PITA. I'm still missing you.
