Emmy
Forever in our hearts
I just lost my Bichon-Poo, Emmy, on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Found on the street in Westchester, NY (I’m in Queens County about 20 miles away), she came to me at appx. five years old, with a marker for cancer.
With love & care, she lasted 8 1/2 years, loved by dogs & cats, people, & the residents of our local nursing home. On her first visit, a resident told me, “I can see her beautiful soul in her eyes.”
A tumor on her liver burst, & I was able to rush her to peace within two hours of feeling something was wrong. I told the vet he could do a PM if he thought he’d learn something to help other dogs, & he decided to do it that night.
Memorial transferred from our previous Remembrance Gallery.
