Cooper

Forever in our hearts
Cooper was a stray Jack Russell Terrier we picked up as he ran loose across a busy street. My husband stopped our car and I opened the passenger door to try to rescue him from the traffic. He jumped into the car and into my arms and heart. We were never able to find his owner (no tags and no chip) so we gave him a permanent home with us. It was apparent he had been abused in his previous home. We worked very hard to pour love and gentleness on him and some of his fears seemed to subside over time. We loved him very much and he loved us. He was very cuddly, very playful and made us laugh every day. His life was cut short by cancer in November of 2015, but we treasure every moment we had him and the joy he gave us. He will always be in our hearts.
