Bud

One year ago tonight, the brightest star in my sky went dark. I lost my best friend, my son and the largest piece of my heart and soul. Since that night, not an hour has gone by that I don’t think of you, Bud, and miss you. From the day I first met you in the shelter until you took your last breath in my arms 14 years later, your presence was always full of joy, love, comfort, support, tenderness and smiles. You are and will always be dearly missed, and you will always be my little Bud.
