Bailey

Bailey was a stray I adopted in August 2014. He was a gentle soul and loved people, as well as other cats. My husband was bedbound with late stage Alzheimer's Diesease. Within the first week I had Bailey, he would lay on on the hospital bed with him. He seemed to understand that he needed comforting. Bailey declined very quickly. My vet and the internal medicine vet suspected a lymphoma in the spinal region. He passed away before a final diagnosis could be made. I will always picture him basking in the sun on the bay window ledge, watching for me to come home. Before I opened the door, he would jump down and always be there at the door to greet me...
