Forever in our hearts
Argus was a wonderful therapy dog who delighted children who read to him in the elementary schools for seven years. After a diagnosis of cancer of the pancreas and liver, he lived for 22 months on an experimental drug from the Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University. When I got a new Golden puppy, I put him in the Golden Retriever Study as a tribute to my beloved Argus.
